This intermediate woodwind quintet digital download arrangement of "The Star-Spangled Banner" (the U.S. National Anthem) is perfect for patriotic events, American holiday concerts (such as July 4th, Flag Day, or Memorial Day), pops concerts, and military ceremonies. This setting is written for groups ranging from advanced high school ensembles to college groups to professional quintets. I have included an alternate bass clarinet part in lieu of a missing bassoon.
You can count on an arrangement of our National Anthem from a retired U.S. Air Force Bandsman. After performing this piece over 1,000 times in my 24-year AF Band career, I understand it quite well. Although scored for only five instruments, this arrangement sounds full and complete and will help you and your audiences honor our country during your patriotic events. Originally scored for a full military band, I hope you enjoy this unique setting for winds.
