old fashioned but still the best
This is the piano method that I was taught with about 45 years ago. I'll admit that it is old-fashioned. But, looking back at it, and reading all the ideas that it offers on piano technique and interpretation, I feel that it is the most informative method out there. If one actually follows all the advice it offers, one can succeed in playing the piano professionally, unlike most modern piano methods.
