Terrible edition unfortunately
I wouldn't buy it if I knew it's not correct. The text specifically is not correct. It looks beautiful though.

Good Version
I enjoy working with this version of the Stabat Mater. The markings are clear and the text is readable. This version allows for more personality -many of the markings that are written in to other versions are incidental in this one. It made for a very enjoyable practice!

Terrible edition
I would strongly recommend paying more and getting a decent edition. The quality of the engraving is poor, whole bars are missing. I am going to explore alternatives. Very disappointing

Great Score!
Accurate, exactly what I expected. For keyboard and voice.

Perfection for women's voices
Pergolesi was a genius and this is one of his finest works, scored here for either solos and duets (soprano and alto) or two-voice women's choir. Clear, well-displayed and easy to read - a treasured version of one of my favorite compositions of all time.

Pergolesi Stabat Mater
Completely awesome! Rather challenging, but good practice for several less common but important metrical patterns. Mostly solos and duets, but several chorus parts, and some of the duets can be sung as choruses. The Alto solos are almost Mezzo-soprano solos; E-flats common, 2 F's in Qae Moraebat (No. 4). Soprano soloists have to be able to sing high A's and B-flats. Same for the duets. Interesting pitch jumps and accidentals. Lots of 1/16 notes and 1/8 notes. If your choir can do it, I fully recommend it!
