He actually composed the music first and then added the titles, dispelling any theory of specific religious fervor on his part, but rather creating a general mood with the music.St. Michael the Archangel, the “battle-scene” 2nd movement is about 6 minutes in length. Mr. Malmstrom has once again shown his talent for arranging large works for Trombone octet. It is appropriate for advanced performers.
