Springtime Ride for Concert Band is inspired by cinematic scenes depcting kids on bikes, like in Stranger Things, E.T., and The Goonies. All of these have fantastic scenes of kids on bikes, and there may be a bit of a movie score sound in Springtime Ride due to these influences. At the end of the piece, I picture the kids pedaling off into the sunset.
