Perfect for recitals
Very accessible for medium easy level piano students, the composers approach to incorporating the Aeolian and Phrygian harmonies to the lovely melody adds a unique character to this piano trio.There are many pedagogical gems noted by the composer - 6/8 meter, a variety of dynamics, blocked/broken chords, articulations (staccato and trills). Often, piano is considered a solo instrument. Piano ensembles at earlier levels encourage playing and collaboration with others and all that entails.
