This is a compilation of 11 favourite German folk songs that are woven together with creative interludes to create a pleasing whole. It is a wonderful addition to any spring concert program for many venues; the original German title would translate as “Welcome to Spring”.
Traditional harmonies and a transparent structure make the work readily accessible to both players and audiences alike.
Included is a practical condensed conductor's score. However, a full conductor’s score (34 pages) is also available on request. The arrangement is prepared for a North American concert band; for European type bands, we have treble clef Baritone parts included, and we can supply Eb Horn parts as well (free download download on request)..
