Mit der Einrichtung dieser Gedichte, die man laut Orff weder singen noch in üblicher Manier sprechen kann, sondern interpretieren muss, verwirklicht der Komponist seine Grundintention, die Musik in die Sprache hereinzuholen, ohne deren Autonomie aufzuheben.
