Strong Pentacost anthem
This is an excellent original work by Mark Hayes that has great rhythmic interest and tells the story of Pentecost. It is not too difficult and does not require a large choir to be effective. The piano part is vintage Mark Hayes, so a strong intermediate level pianist is needed to handle the the mixed jazzy, spiritual style at full tempo. The text for the Pentecost story in the middle of the anthem is well written for easy singing and listening. It is a real toe-tapping congregation pleaser!
