The journey unfolds with a vivid opening section, where the music bursts with dazzling energy. As the piece progresses, it transitions into a slower, more introspective middle section, evoking a sense of nostalgia. Finally the earlier introduced musical materials return to build momentum toward the climax, ending the piece in an energetic and lively way!
Spark was originally composed for Viola Ensemble (4 parts + solo) commissioned by College of Music, Mahidol University for International Viola Congress 2023.
