This is a tender love song about a failing relationship, arranged for mixed three-part choir and piano. There is one male voice line which is suitable for any voice, tenor or bass, and is written in two clefs to suit all singers. It has some outstandingly beautiful harmony and lyrics. There is a counter-tune which appears in the bridge and is sung to accompany the final verse. The song moves towards a final passionate plea, and then ends very gently. The piano part is based on Elton's version and is very lyrical and rewarding to play. I have classified it as advanced intermediate.
