Hauntingly gorgeous string quartet piece
This piece is almost as moving as Symphony No. 3. I would skip the 3rd movement but all of the others are quite meditative and calming.Fortunately, this is NOT just Cello sheet music as stated in the description, but rather consists of all parts, violin I, violin II, viola and cello.A priceless addition to our library and repertoire. HINT: to find this full version, you cannot just search Gorecki but enter ...songs are sung.Also, by the way, I believe the poem is mis-translated from the Russian.....it should read, when horses die, they sigh. NOT breathe.
