This intermediate level piece is for flute solo accompanied by a violin and a piano. I named the piece a "song" because it was originally for female voices (alti and soprani). But I always found that the flute and the violin tones marry so well that I couldn't resist writing parts for them. So here it is and I provided all the scores for the different parts, 13 pages in all. I even added parts which are written an octave higher just in case the the flute player feels more comfortable not hitting the lower C sharp. The upper octave version is nice but I still prefer the original version (the lower one) since it feels more profound, nearer to the soul.
