Sonatine - Percussion Octet Chamber Music - Sheet Music

Sonatine was written for Shugakuin Junior High School Band, Kyoto, in 1998. It was revised a year later and given its first performance in December, 1999. This is an octet with lively feelings, written in three-part form, A-B-A, which develops a large ending with unisons in the keyboards. In this work, like others from Mr. Kaneda, normal instruments are effectively used to realize a rich singing style, and its educational consideration allows beginners to also perform.
