Considered the composer's first original composition. Written at the age of 10, this short, 3-movement sonatina displays the limited harmonic vocabulary and sometimes quirky creativity of its youthful composer. The third movement is constructed as a slightly larger movement than the first and second to give it more weight. This makes it the most difficult movement technically, but also makes it weaker in musical consistently than the other two movements.
