Good Urtext of Weber piano sonatas

This welcome 2018 edition is an extract from the 2015 Weber Complete Edition. It contains the text of the 4 sonatas without modernizing the notation. The fine engraving has plenty of whitespace for adding fingering and is easier on the eyes than the cramped, airless old Koehler/Ruthardt edition, but there are many more page turns. The brief preface is useful, but the few footnotes are only in German and unfortunately there are no Critical Notes. This edition is for serious Weber performers or scholars. There is no fingering, so performers may want to have the Koehler/Ruthardt edition (or Henle for Op. 24) handy for fingering suggestions.
