I love this piece
I am constantly on the search for unaccompanied music for flute - no need to find a pianist! I bought this piece at random one day, and fell in love with it. While not technically difficult, it requires a lot of breath control to sustain the long legato passages, and is great to show off your tone over a wide range. Pair it with something quick and lively for a wonderful interlude in a showy concert setting, e.g., Danse de la Chevre by Honneger.
