Solidarity in Gold is geschreven ter gelegenheid van het 50-jarig jubileum van de Cromvoirtse Fanfare door hun lid Ron van Riel. De muziek weerspiegelt alle facetten van het leven van de vereniging gedurende die 50 jaar. Het begin, enthousiasme , vriendschap, blijheid en natuurlijk ook pijn en verdriet. Maar wat toch vooral naar voren komt is de saamhorigheid van een hechte vereniging. Met vertrouwen in de toekomst bouwen zij verder, op naar het volgende jubileum!

Ron van Riel composed Solidarity in Gold to commemorate the 50th anniversary of his band, Cromvoirtse Fanfare. The music reflects all the various facets of life in the club during those 50 years. The beginning, enthusiasm, friendships, the good-times but of course, also pain and sorrow. But what mainly emerges is the bond between the members of this close association. With confidence in the future of the group, they look forward to their next anniversary!

Solidarity in Gold a été écrit à l’occasion du cinquantenaire de la Fanfare de Cromvoirt, par leur membre Ron van Riel. La musique reflète toutes les facettes de la vie de la société pendant ces 50 années. Le commencement, l’enthousiasme, l’amitié et le bonheur mais aussi la peine et la douleur. Mais surtout s’exprime ici la solidarité d’une société unie. Pleine de confiance en l’avenir, elle se réjouit à l’idée de sa prochaine fête d’anniversaire !

Solidarity in Gold entstand anlässlich des 50jährigen Bestehens der Cromvoirtse Fanfare, komponiert vom Orchestermitglied Ron van Riel. Die Musik spiegelt alle Facetten des Vereinslebens während dieser 50 Jahre wider: die ersten Jahre, Enthusiasmus, Freundschaft, Fröhlichkeit und Natürlich auch Schmerz und Trauer. Was jedoch immer wieder durchscheint ist das Gefühl der Zusammengehörigkeit. Mit Vertrauen in die Zukunft schafft man weiter, das nächste Jubiläum im Blick.
