This is an arrangement for guitar of the second half (m. 55 - end) of Scott Joplin's composition "Solace - A Mexican Serenade." While some chords have been slightly revoiced and some pitches omitted, this arrangement aims to preserve as much of Joplin's original as possible, on the guitar fretboard.
This arrangement utitilizes a capo on the first fret to keep the music in the original key. Because of the significant number of passages played higher up the guitar neck, the tabulature shows actual fretted positions, with any notes tabbed as "1" being played as "open" strings.
