The piece is built around a single, light, waltz-like theme led by the piano. Changes in register and chord voicing provide contrast while maintaining a steady sense of motion. Beneath its light character lies a subtle drive and intensity, capturing both the charm and force of a storm that is at once beautiful and unrelenting.
