Solid Transcriptions for the Working Guitarist
As expected from Hal Leonard, these Slipknot transcriptions are spot on. The note-for-note tab and standard notation make learning these tracks efficient. Chord names and diagrams are handy, though for live use, I'm mostly focused on the riffs. At 87 pages, it's a comprehensive collection; good for when a specific deep cut gets requested. Finally Sound Like Slipknot!
I've always wanted to play these Slipknot tracks, and this book delivers! The 'Intermediate' level is a good challenge for me, but with the detailed tablature and standard notation, I can really work through it at my own pace. It's so satisfying to play along and sound just like the record. A perfect way to unwind and enjoy some heavy riffs on the weekend. Absolutely worth it!
