Composed by Phil Beaman. 20th Century,A Cappella,Christian,Christmas,Concert,Sacred. Octavo. 4 pages. Phil Beaman #3417475. Published by Phil Beaman (A0.844484).

A contemporary Christmas carol/lullaby for SAB a capella choir. Written in 20th century style, inspired by Flor Peeters. It has a simple scalar melody line with tight harmonies of 2nds. Time Signature is 5/4 with a short section in polymeter as it transitions to the 3/4 ending. (The rhythm is mostly quarter note/crotchets, so counting is not difficult; but you must count!). There are 3 verses plus an ending, and in each verse a different part takes the melody. A beautiful short choral piece to set the mood for either concert or service.
