This innovative and powerful arrangement for SATB choir (with very limited divisi) and piano combines Adele's James Bond theme 'Skyfall' with the Henry Purcell aria 'When I am Laid in Earth' from the opera Dido and Aeneas (1688). It is a mash-up that preserves the 'Skyfall' song in its entirety, but overlays it with one of the most iconic songs from the operatic repertoire. It is perfect for high school and college mixed-voice choirs, and will give pleasure to connoisseurs of pop and classical music: it is effective in performance and really fun to sing.
