Afterwards, the dramatic theme from the start returns to the fore with a splendid antiphon in the horns/euphoniums bringing the work to a grandiose close.

Daarna komtopnieuw het dramatische beginthema naar voren met een prachtige tegenzang in de hoorns/euphoniums om dan met een groots slot te eindigen.

Mit diesem wunderbaren vielseitigen Konzertwerk kann Ihr Orchester in jeder Hinsicht glänzen. Dem träumerischen Beginn folgt eine tänzerische Passage, die immer aufputschender wird und in der alle Gruppen nacheinander an die Reihe kommen. Danach tritt erneut das dramatische Anfangsthema in den Vordergrund mit einem schönen Gegengesang der Baritons/Hörner.
