BIG SOUTH WEATHER no. 1, 2, 3 are collections of poems and song cycles with the unifying theme of the wild southern strong winds and rough seas that hit the south of Crete in Spring and Autumn usually. The bulk of the lyrics are written either in English or in modern Greek. In the latter case some of these songs are presented also in only instrumental versions, and the SIROCCO BARCAROLE is one of these songs with the original tenor vocal part replaced by the clarinet part at an octave higher. It will also be published as a vocal song with the original Greek lyrics at a later stage. The video mix in the Youtube consists of a rough copy of the score superimposed on video clips of the actual big southern weathers of 2013 in the south of Crete.
