Easy to sing
This was a perfect pieces for our small choir to handle for Christmas Eve. It was easy to learn, yet interesting enough to sing. The optional flute part added another interesting element.

Very nice
This piece was perfect for our little two-part, intergenerational church chorus. Everyone loved it from the first read-through. Because they already knew both tunes it was so easy to learn, and the little harmonies built in were easy for them, too, so it was a great piece for the Christmas season, when everyone is busy and there's not as much time to rehearse the choir as you might want. The group loved it and the congregation really enjoyed hearing it. The choral part is very simple but quite pleasing. The accompaniment part does require an experienced accompanist.

Very quick to learn, almost too easy
I wanted two-part or three-part music for the Advent and Christmas songs, as we were holding many services with the regular choir split apart by choosing different times. This was essentially unison for much of the piece, and I had hoped for a truer two-part the whole way through. This made it very easy to pull together in one fast rehearsal, however. And the mixing of the two songs and the different rhythms did give it a bit more interest. A nice piece over all.
