"Sing Praise to God in Winter Too" is a rare winter hymn that I found in a hymnbook so old that this song hasn’t been published anywhere online, and yet it’s so very beautiful and will serve many who are looking for a wintertime hymn that isn’t exactly Christmas but is still Christian and praises God, a real rarity! Makes an especially perfect song for a children’s choir, but is perfect to remind all of us how God cares for the sparrow even in the cold of winter, and will care for us too!
This version is in F major to make it a little easier to play, and there is also one published that is in the original key as heard in my recording, in E major. Just look up the song title and “Stacey Plays Hymns” on this website. For a still higher or lower key or special arrangement for a solo instrument, just write to me and I will gladly publish it for you. A full lyric video is available on Youtube as a practice aid and for inspiration.
