Published by Steven Mark Kudlo (A0.1837693).A short, three-movement symphony for reduced orchestra: 1,1,1,1; 2,1,0,0; 0; strings. Only eleven minutes long, it is, in conception, three songs without words. Very neo-romantic, it contains some smooth and beautiful passages. Be sure to listen to the mp3. The orchestration is in the style of Tchaikovsky, though overall, there may be a resemblance to Brahms technic. It is definitely not in their style, but it is personal to the composer. It's basically in imtermediate level. There is a preference for strings, but every group gets a chance. The movements are in 3/4, 5/4, and 2/4, respectively. Because of the extensive chromaticism in the expositions, it is keyless, but not atonal. It's more like progressive tonality, and most of the chords are triads or sevenths. Using pure triads gives a resonating sound.
