This arrangement of Silent Night is an excellent solo for the advancing intermediate cellist. It is written in the key of G Major and includes the theme and one variation. The solo requires a few measures of reading in tenor clef and playing in thumb position. The piano accompaniment is a true accompaniment and does not double the cello melody throughout. Thoughtful bowings and dynamics have been included. This is perfect for any holiday program!
