This bossa nova-inspired arrangement of the Christmas favourite "Silent Night, Holy Night" will suit pianists who have been playing a couple of years. It would be an ideal piece for the teacher to teach some theory too, introducing chords such as major, minor, 6ths and 7ths. Of course, it would also be a fun piece for the pupil to enjoy in the lead up to the holidays! This arrangement is in the key of F major, features single notes in the left hand and up to four-note chords in the right, dynamics, some simple syncopation per hand, and notes across the treble and bass clefs including some leger lines. A sample is shown for you to assess the difficulty.
