Gruber's beautiful carol arranged for 3 part Cambiata Choir (cambiata 1, cambiata 2, baritone), with parts written to work with the changing voices of roughly 11-15 year old boys. The baritone part, in particular, has a limited range to suit the newly changed or still changing voices. The 1st verse is marked solo or small group and could be divided between choir members to suit the range, as Gruber's original has a particularly wide range for what is often sung as a congregational carol. This arrangement is suitable for any festive performance, whether in a service or a concert.
