Towards the end of this period in Parishe wrote his Seven Spanish Folk Songs (Siete canciones populares espanolas). Cellist Bruno Borralhinho arrangedthese songs for mezzo-soprano, clarinet, violoncello and piano. The edition includes two piano scores, as well asan alternative violin part, which allows a performance with mezzo-soprano and piano trio as well.
