Shower The People by James Taylor 4-Part - Digital Sheet Music

By James Taylor

This unpretentious, folksy SATB arrangement of James Taylor’s popular Shower the People was written for an Intermediate choral group, which makes it accessible to most groups. It does have a few challenges to keep it interesting. It includes the descant part found on many of James Taylor’s recordings of the song. There is also a guitar fake chart that can be played with this arrangement. The piano part is nice, but since the original was guitar driven, the guitar part will go nicely. NOTE: Both the piano and guitar parts can be played by intermediately skilled high school musicians. This is a great nostalgia piece for parents and grandparents alike.IF YOU WOULD LIKE YOUR ENSEMBLE TO GAIN MORE MEDIA EXPOSURE, please record your performance of this piece and email it to [email protected]. It will be included in my social media postings and website samples with any contact info you may want to provide. If you need help with recording technique or email transfer, etc. please contact me.
