Shepherd's Hymn is a contemporary SATB choral piece that was composed in honor of the Mapleton Chorale's (Mapleton, Utah) 25th Anniversary. The piece takes it lyrics from the New Testament book of Luke, chapter 2 as well as additional lyrics by the composer. The piece reflects the great event of the angels' visit to humble shepherd's and the wondrous news of the birth of Jesus. This piece was composed for a community choir and would be ideal for community choir or church use.
