From the creative hand of Marty Haugen comes a splendid collection of music for the seasons of Lent, Easter, and Pentecost, along with a new setting of the litanies and acclamations for Eucharist entitled, Mass of Remembrance. You'll find "Song over the Waters," a gathering hymn which incorporates the Rite of Sprinkling, "Shepherd Me, O God," an inclusive language version of the beloved 23rd Psalm and a beautiful rendition of the Eucharistic Prayer for Masses of Reconciliation II, to name just a few. This original setting of the Mass of Remembrance - composed prior to the Revised Order of Mass in 2010 - is suitable for use with any choir, large or small, traditional or contemporary, and may be performed by just a few voices and instruments or a full complement of mixed voices, brass and percussion. In addition to the recorded version of the Eucharistic Prayer, the full score includes a simplified version of the same prayer.
