Sheebeg and Sheemore are two hills topped by ancient ruins rumored to be fairy castles. This arrangement is an Easy Intermediate Violin Duet. It an excellent choice for Irish holidays, such as St. Patrick's Day, and any gathering where Irish music lovers gather. The tempo for an air is slow and stately, but this piece is often played as a lively waltz at contra dances as well.
