Published by Andrew Peacock (A0.1566882).Shanghai Bound is a cool, original, very melodic latin chart for intermediate big band. I wrote it for the upcoming ISCMS 2025 Festival in Shanghai, China. It should be manageable by a fairly competent school big band, amateur community band etc. 1st Trumpet only goes to 'A' above the stave (except for ONE 'C' near the end). 1st Trombone goes up to 'G'. Alto 1 features 16 bars of impro. Bari needs low 'A'. Trombone 4 does not need F attachment. The mp3 sample shows the intro and 1st chorus, then cuts to the final 'shout' chorus. Duration: approx 4 minutes.
