By Spyro Gyra. By Jay Beckenstein. Arranged by P. R. Frederick. This edition: pdf. Funk, Jazz, Latin, Pop. Individual part. 2 pages. P. R. Frederick #1319233. Published by P. R. Frederick (A0.1758944).

"Shaker Song", along with Spyro Gyra’s later hit "Morning Dance," was instrumental in ushering in and defining the "adult contemporary" radio format and the burgeoning smooth jazz movement. It was featured on the band's self-titled debut album, originally self-released in 1977. The song is a key example of the jazz fusion and smooth jazz genres, incorporating a distinct Afro-Cuban or Caribbean flavor.

This is a direct transcription in the original key for alto saxophone.
