Baroque master J.S. Bach prepared two volumes of short pieces of pedagogical material for keyboard as a gift for his second wife, Anna Magdalena Bach. This volume includes eleven of these pieces, primarily Minuets, in transcription for clarinet and bass clarinet duet. Including familiar melodies such as the famous 'Minuet in G', and with excellent examples of Bach two-part counterpoint throughout, the volume would make for excellent teaching material for young students.
