A significant melody to be sure - if you haven't heard of the Seikilos Epitaph, do yourself a favour and go read up about it :) . This arrangement of the melody for 3 violins & piano takes a few liberal turns, allowing each instrument to have a slightly different, unique part to play. The piece is very accessible from the difficulty point of view - even novices should be able to help themselves with any one of the violin parts. Total performance time should be just over 2 minutes.
