This is my duet version of a hit song from the 1960s. P. F. Sloan and Steve Barri were hired by CBS to write a new theme song for Secret Agent, a British import featuring the debonair Patrick McGoohan as John Drake, a covert operative working for Her Majesty's Secret Service. Pop singer Johnny Rivers recorded it. Demands for a longer version of the song impelled Sloan and Barri to turn it into a single, with Rivers again doing the vocals. This piano duet has been arranged for student and teacher. It would be best for a student who is used to reading treble clef in both hands, can make quick position changes in the RH and who has a keen sense of rhythm. There are no 8th notes, but it is in a fast cut time. There is little subtlety in this arrangement. Treat it like what it is - a classic 60s rock n' roll number! Have fun!
