Use Efficiently
Beethoven taught Czerny. Czerny instructed Liszt and among Liszt's pupils was Joseffy. Everyone wrote a practice Manuel/s except Louie Beethoven, who might have put together a collection like John Sibby River's (J. S. BACH) A.M.B. Book, if he'd had the time. My last teacher highly recommended this book, but only by taking up the exercises one needed to solve a problem. When I watch Cziffra play I see his father, the cabaret artist, making it look easy and entertaining. So please, use your exercises to gain information and if you still use Hanon get a mindfulness colouring book instead.

Quite a workout!!!
I'm out of shape and this is really working finger independence. It always seems like that's goes first for me. Joseffy demands that I concentrate all the time. No breaks like you get with Hanon, etc.This is definitely the work I need right now.
