Why should only orchestral piccoloists have all the fun?! Here is the entire Scherzo movement, including the infamous piccolo solo note for note, arranged for flute ensemble. Challenging in all parts, not just the picc.
In this 2026 revision, I reformatted the score to (hopefully) be more readable, although more pages. The contra part is very much required; the sub-contra and double-contra parts are optional. These two are essentially the same and serve to reinforce the contra, especially in forte sections.
The entire piece is approximately 5 1/2 minutes in length. There are 119 total pages in this set (score and parts). Recommended for advanced ensembles only.
