Hrimaly Scales
I use this book for teaching for several reasons. It is suitable for all levels.It's very reasonably priced, has major and minor scales in one octave, two octave and three octave formats, and has many shifting exercises with scales on one string. It follows scales with arpeggios and broken scales and chord progressions to the next key. The only thing I don't like is in the one octave scales at the beginning of the book they add extra notes beyond the scale which can be confusing to someone trying to learn tonalities. I always cross those notes out so the student gets a pure scale.
