Many of us place our faith in legendary figures hoping for good to be shared with those around us in our lives. The intention of this work is to capture the majesty surrounding our beloved Saint Nicholas. NOTES TO CONDUCTOR The duration of the composition is two minutes at the marked tempo. Careful attention should be given to articulations, dynamic changes and phrasing throughout the work. The entire work should be felt in two even though it is marked in common time. Be sure not to breathe after any crescendo throughout the work. Measure 73 through measure 75 should give focus to the tenor voices. The last three quarter notes of the piece should be emphasized a little heavier with some space.
