The level is accurate. I am a late piano student with 4 years as a student but now study on my own. The piece is beautifully arranged and can be accomplished by most intermediate students. It is absolutely beautiful! It sounds like the original and smoothly flows from beginning to end. I am not perfectly happy with the ending but that seems to be the only dislike on my part. I think for any piano teacher this piece would be successfully accomplished for a recital. I had no idea that this song was a Christmas piece. To me it is perfect anytime and has such an easy flow that students will love working on its lovely melody.
