Lyrical modern piece
A great piece to showcase a good range of technical elements particularly with the bow. Not a 'fireworks' type of composition but one which requires great precision, timing and well thought through contact . As another reviewer has mentioned, the full fingerboard is fully covered right up to the harmonics beyond fingerboard. This piece will get you thinking with the bow pulling out dynamics and textures to make the melodies sing. A good listenable modern piece that is quite accessible to non modernist ears especially if the diversity of tones available is exploited by the player.

Great Colors
This 6 minute piece for advanced double bassist is a very welcoming piece into the repertoire of contemporary double bass. It has amazing textures, colors, and tonalities within lyrical phrases that are audience friendly as well. Exploring melodies that range from first position to the end of the fingerboard- with double stops, and ending in a relinquishing melody of false-harmonics
