This wonderful, charming piece is something that moves away from the Rossini of the operas. Rossini wrote it when he was just 12 years old. Conceived as little chamber pieces to be played among friends, the original ensemble is quite curious as it does not include a viola, but it does have a cello and a double bass, plus, of course, two violins.
I've rearranged the piece introducing the viola part, plus some changes to the cello and double bass part in order to preserve the lightness of the work. It can be played by either a string quintet or a string orchestra.
You will get a full score and a set of parts. Bowings present. Have fun!
