This is a piece I composed for the Roosevelt Middle School Band in 1999. I wanted a challenge for htis young band, but one that would have them grow and develop as individuals and a band. I used the motif in both the uptempo and slow sections. I had also titled this "Mr. Billing's Opus" having been inspired by Mr. HOlland's Opus on the threatre screen.
