A modern transcription of the Rondeau by Marin Marais that has long been misattributed to Lully and as a Gavotte (Suzuki violin and viola Book 2 and Suzuki cello Book 3).
In this transcription from the original score I have translated the original ornament markings into modern equivalents, and used tenor clef where appropriate. The French style at the time would have been to play all quavers as 'swung'.
Sheet music includes solo cello part, cello continuo part, & piano accompaniment part (which includes the continuo part in the left hand). The piece also works well as a cello duet with no piano.
